Outline of the role

Volunteers are needed to improve the upkeep of Kearsney Parks by carrying out regular litter picks throughout the year. If you would like to make a real difference to Kearsney Parks, this is a great volunteer opportunity.

Time

Flexible time commitment. Ideally volunteers should be available for one day a month but this may increase over the summer months.

Litter picker volunteer

  • carry out regular litter picks of specified areas throughout Kearsney Parks
  • friendly and enthusiastic demeanour

Skills and experience required

  • to be reliable in attendance and dependable
  • care for the local environment and community
  • enthusiastic about Kearsney Parks
  • physically active

  • litter pick tools and bin bags
  • induction and training with ongoing support
  • refreshments
  • further training where applicable
