General update
With the autumn months upon us, the parks are full of the colours of the season and 'spell-binding' things to see and do for all the family.
This includes a frightfully fun Halloween trail at Kearsney Abbey on Wednesday 28 October, between 10am and 3pm. Follow the map around the park, search for the hidden Halloween faces and tick them off on your bingo card. But beware... one character isn't hiding anywhere in the park! Can you solve the mystery and discover who's missing? For details, or to book your slot, please see the spook-tacular Kearsney Parks Events pages.
You may have noticed the scaffolding in Russell Gardens, as a range of refurbishment works continue to be carried out on the bridges. The works on the two Victorian bridges and the boathouse are due to be finished by the end of November. The bridges have been fenced off while works are undertaken, but the park remains open and there is still access to the grounds and the play area in Russell Gardens. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Please also note, the main car park in Kearsney Abbey changed to winter opening times from 1 October - the winter times for the main car park are from 7am to 7pm, and it is locked overnight.
Share your wildlife photos
Have you taken a great wildlife photo in Kearsney Abbey, Russell Gardens, or Bushy Ruff?
We would love to see it!
Each year, Kearsney Parks invites visitors to send us their best photos of the wildlife found across our parks. From birds and butterflies to dragonflies, mammals, and wildflowers, your photographs help celebrate the incredible nature that can be found in these special green spaces.
The competition runs throughout the year, and the winning photographs will be selected towards the end of November. The best images will be featured in the Kearsney Parks Calendar.
