Important Notice:
No BBQs in Kearsney Parks (Kearsney Abbey, Russell Gardens, and Bushy Ruff).
Due to the recent dry weather, there is a risk of fires in Kearsney Parks.
To help keep everyone safe and protect wildlife, trees, and grassland, barbecues and open fires are not allowed anywhere in the park until further notice.
Even a small spark, hot ash, or disposable BBQ can start a fire very quickly in dry conditions. Fires can spread fast and may put people, animals, and property at risk.
We ask all visitors to:
- Do not bring or use BBQs, fire pits, or open flames.
- Put cigarettes out completely and dispose of them safely.
- Take litter home or use the bins provided.
