This walk will go from Kearsney Abbey to the sea, following the River Dour. You'll get the chance to learn about and record the animals and plants of the river. You can also find out more about becoming a volunteer river ranger.
Please bring a rucksack with drink and food (or you can buy food on the way).
We'll be meeting in the car park at Kearsney Abbey. This is a linear route, which means that the walk will finish at the seafront and we will not return to Kearsney Abbey. Please note that dogs are not allowed on this walk.
The walk is being led by Melanie Wrigley from the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership. If you'd like to come along, please book your place by emailing email@example.com or call 01304 241806.
While work is taking place to restore and improve the facilities at Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens, there is limited parking available on site. Please think about using public transport, cycling or walking to the parks. If you do drive, please think about the nearby residents. Please park considerately, and do not block emergency access routes. Thank you.
