Discover the freshwater wildlife of the River Dour! Join this river dipping session with your pond nets and discover the animals living in Dover's special chalk river. Please bring wellies and a towel. This event is being led by the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership and Affinity Water.
The event will start at the Kearsney Abbey car park (opposite Russell Gardens) and will then move down the river, past the boating lake in Kearsney Abbey.
While work is taking place to restore and improve the facilities at Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens, there is limited parking available on site. Please think about using public transport, cycling or walking to the parks. If you do drive, please think about the nearby residents. Please park considerately, and do not block emergency access routes.
Please note that dogs are not allowed on this event.
The event is free, but donations would be appreciated.
