Find 30...Plants, butterflies and bees at Kearsney Parks

Kearsney Abbey
Walks & Tours
Sunday 30th June 2019 (11:00-13:00)

Join this gentle walk, stopping to look and list the wild animals and plants that we see in the grounds of Kearsney Abbey. You'll learn how to identify various animals and plants.  The walk will include a visit to Coxhill Mount - please be aware that this walk goes up a steep, narrow pathway that can get muddy.

The walk will be led by Melanie Wrigley from the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership. We'll be meeting outside the old billiard room (the old cafe) in Kearsney Abbey.

The event is free, but donations would be appreciated. Please note that dogs are not allowed on this walk.

While work is taking place to restore and improve the facilities at Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens, there is limited parking available on site. Please think about using public transport, cycling or walking to the parks. If you do drive, please think about the nearby residents. Please park considerately, and do not block emergency access routes. Thank you.
