Corn mills, paper mills and bankers - Dour walk 1

Location
Crabble Corn Mill
Date(s)
Friday 23rd August 2019 (14:00-16:00)
Description

This walk will explore the industrial heritage of the paper and corn mills which once lined the banks of the River Dour.

Enjoy this beautifully scenic walk through Kearsney, upstream to Temple Ewell.

We'll be meeting at Crabble Corn Mill on Lower Road, River, CT17 0U7. This will be a linear route which means the walk will end in Temple Ewell and will not return to the mill.

The walk will be led by Barry O'Brien from Dover Tales, for the River Dour Partnership.

It costs £2 and places must be booked via www.whitecliffswalkingfestival.org

Parking

While work is taking place to restore and improve the facilities at Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens, there is limited parking available in the parks. Please think about using public transport, cycling or walking instead. If you do drive, please think about the nearby residents. Please park considerately, and do not block emergency access routes. Thank you.
