This autumn we are running free teacher training sessions that are designed for teachers working in primary schools.
‘Learning outside in Kearsney Parks’ will include the following topics:
- An introduction to the project and parks
- Writing a benefit risk assessment
- Planning and managing children in the outdoors
- Using the park as a context for learning across the curriculum.
The sessions are being run by Andrew Lamb, a former Headteacher.
The first part of the day will be spent at Dover District Council's offices in Whitfield, and the afternoon in the parks.
If you work with children and would like to come along, please email email@example.com
The training is free, but places are limited.
The session is being repeated on Friday 2nd November and Friday 30th November.
