Join us on an interactive workshop inspired by imaginary spaces in nature with artist Louise Webb.
We’ll play with the idea of escapism that gardens and controlled nature can create and cultivate. We want to explore how different age groups use the park and navigate their way through it. You’ll be able to pick up a blank map of Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens, encouraged to explore different areas of the park and create temporary names and alternative uses.
You don't have to come along for the whole event - just pop by when you like.
The workshop is also taking place on Tuesday 21st August and Thursday 23rd August.
This is part of Art in the Park - Kearsney interpreted, an Arts Council England funded project delivered by Dover District Council in partnership with Dover Arts Development (DAD). A key aim of the project is to bring new audiences to the parks using arts and culture to engage people with the landscape designs, ecology, social and industrial heritage of the parks.
