November 2016 Project Update

Now that we have secured funding from HLF, we are busy planning the activities and works that will be happening. To find out more, come along to our exhibition outside the cafe in Kearsney Abbey. The exhibtion will explain the works that are planned, including the restoration of Russell Gardens, the cafe extension, the removal of overgrown shrubs and secondary woodland, and transport and parking arrangements.

The exhibition will be on display from 8 December for around a month. If you would like to discuss the plans, our team will be there from 10am to 1pm on Thursday 8 December and from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesday 14 December.

Temporary cafe closure

As part of planning the restoration of the billiard room cafe in Kearsney Abbey, our architects and surveyors needs to inspect the stained glass ceiling lantern. To get close to the lantern, we need to put up scaffolding inside the cafe. As a result, the cafe will be closed on Monday 12 December. We're sorry for any inconvenience this will cause.
