Project Update April 2019
Works are continuing to the café extension and billiard room. The old protective roof lantern on the billiard room has now been removed. The original timberwork will be redecorated and the roof lantern will be cleaned before a new lantern is installed over the top to protect it from the elements.
The electrical works are underway in the new café extension and mechanical connections for new ventilation and heating systems will be installed over the coming weeks.
While the work is taking place, there is limited parking available on site. Please think about using public transport, cycling or walking to the parks. If you do drive, please think about the nearby residents. Please park considerately, and do not block emergency access routes. Thank you.

We’re planning to produce a Kearsney Parks Calendar for 2020. If you have any photos of Kearsney Abbey or Russell Gardens you would like to be considered, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org
Survey volunteers needed
During May, we’ll be carrying out a survey in Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens to find out how many people are using the parks. We have to do this survey three times a year to give an update to our funders, the National Lottery. If you’d like to help out, please email email@example.com - it only takes an hour or two and is a great opportunity to get out in the fresh air!
Resources for schools
If you teach primary school children, why not make the most of our free education resources? They contain lots of ideas for cross-curricular lessons in Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens. We also have rucksacks full of equipment that can be borrowed for free! More information is on our website at www.kearsneyparks.co.uk/schools
