Farm and Forest Day 7 August 2015

Everyone is invited to come along to the Kearsney Parks Farm and Forest Day in Russell Gardens from 10am to 4pm on Friday 7 August - to get involved in a free fun packed family day, and find out more about the exciting Parks for People project.

There will be a range of activities on the day, including farmers’ market stalls, the chance to meet a local farmer and her sheep, a forest school, a bunting workshop, tractors, model boating, and the opportunity to try out a tree trail.

You will also be able to chat to us about the Parks for People project, and tell us what you love about the Kearsney Parks.

The event is being organised by Dover District Council. You can drop in to the event at any time, but parking is limited so visitors are encouraged to walk, cycle or use public transport if they can.

The event is one of a series of free events being organised across the area as part of the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) funded Up on the Downs Big Summer Festival. For more information on the festival, please see
