The landscapers have now finished the work in Kearsney Parks with just a few smaller jobs to be finished off in the new year. The bridge over the boating lake is now open so you can do a circular walk around the park.
The work in Russell Gardens is finished and will be open in the new year.
The mobile café will be open every day over the festive period from 10am until dusk except Christmas day.
Please note the toilets will be closed Christmas day.
If you do visit the park for exercise and relaxation over the festive period, please remember to social distance and follow all government guidelines. Please remember we are currently under Tier 4 Stay at Home restrictions.
The park continues to be a haven for wildlife so during your visit keep an eye out for the egret, heron, kingfisher and cormorant, as well as the easier to spot blackbirds, coots and moorhens.
Looking forward to 2021, there will be a variety of gardening tasks in Kearsney Park and Russell Gardens to undertake, including the grand border and orchard. If you are interested in volunteering and would like to be put on our database, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are always great opportunities for taking photos in the park, be it with a camera or your phone.
If you do take any and you’re pleased with the results, please do send in any photos that you’d be happy to see in the Kearsney Parks calendar 2022, to email@example.com
