Meet outside Crabble Mill on Lower Road in River
Walks & Tours
Saturday 3rd February 2018 (13:30-16:00)

Industrial history and heritage of the River Dour

Join Dover Tales for this three-mile walk along the River Dour. You'll hear about the mills, breweries and tanneries that once lined the banks of the river. These mills were the workhorses that powered the growth of the town and surrounding villages.

Please note this is not a circular route, so you'll need to make your own way back to the start of the walk, or your car.

This event is free to attend, but donations would be appreciated. The walk will include Kearsney Abbey. There will be another walk, heading towards the seafront, on Saturday 10th March.

Dogs on leads are welcome.
